Jointly produced by Korea’s CJ E&M and China’s Super Jet Entertainment, the Chinese-Korean boy band TimeZ made their debut in Korea in October 2012 with the cheerful Mandarin dance number “Hooray for Idols.” Formed by Chinese members Mao Ruo Yi, Liu Guan Xi, Tian Yi Chen and Kong Shu Hang and Korean members Kim Seong Hwan and Lee Hyeong Joo, the rookie idol group has been attracting attention in both China and Korea, and they recently won the New Asian Artist China Award at the 2012 Mnet Asia Music Awards. After debuting first in Korea, TimeZ is now releasing their first EP in China which includes their debut single “Hooray for Idols” and four other new songs.
